snow day!

This picture says it all when it comes to how I feel about snow days...

Seriously, i loved snow days when I was a kid, loved them when I was a teacher, and I love them as a mommy.  Now, please don't misunderstand.  The following post will not be filled with things like...i love going OUTSIDE in the beautiful snow.  Nope.  I love staying INSIDE and just "being".  Being in PJs, being with our family, being in the kitchen, being still.  So...here's a little of what we did today...

our day started with fruit and yogurt parfaits...yum!

then the boys took a little nap...delightful!

then it was OUTSIDE time

best.daddy.ever.

of course, while the boys were outside...momma made some cherry cheesecake shooters. And, no, that's not wine...i thought they would look pretty in the tall glasses:)

Carson decided HE wanted to wear the snowman's hat...hysterical...his head looks HUGE...haha:)

if you're wondering where Court is...she opted out of any outside or kitchen fun...she was in PJs ALL day reading her books...love that!
