DW with Aunt Liz and Uncle Don!!!

Yes, it's still a Kingdom for Kids... 

but I know a few adults who had a ton of fun there today too!

Just kidding!!!

Met Uncle Don and Aunt Liz at Dutch Wonderland this morning and we had SO MUCH FUN!  Rode rides, spent the afternoon in the water park, and just really enjoyed 

spending time with them!  

 A few highlights: Courtlyn went down the "green" water slide all by herself AND she went down the "yellow" water slide a bunch of times with Mommy and then with Daddy!  

So BRAVE!!!

Carson rode the airplane ride and the trucks...pointing and saying "mine" the entire time!  Our little man had so much fun exploring and getting rides on the "Mommy Taxi" (yes, that's me)...Momma is tired tonight!

Such a great day...sunshine, family, and memories that will last a life time!

Didn't get to post anything yesterday...but had to share the following pics...Courtlyn and I went to Salon Blu to get our hair cut by the best 

hair dresser/stylist/mom-extraordinaire and friend EVER...Miss Allison!!!

We had such a great time...this was only Courtlyn's SECOND hair cut EVER!  

She loves Miss Allison, so our visit went very smoothly:-)

Princess Camp!!!

                                Today concluded Courtlyn's four day Princess Camp at Greater York Dance...and what a WONDERFUL camp it was!  She had sooooo much fun that she already wants to go again next summer!  It was a true delight seeing her and all the other "little princesses" dressed in their black leotards, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and all the various tu-tu skirts...plus, they all made Princess Tiaras...of course!  The Princesses had their performance today at 11:40 and seriously...I almost cried!  They learned a little dance routine and also sang a song from the Little Mermaid...really, it was TOO CUTE!!!!

And they all lived...happily ever after!!!

Two years ago today, at 1:32 in the afternoon, we were blessed with our "little" boy: Carson Jennings Gould!  He may have been 4 weeks early, but he was NOT LITTLE!  He weighed 7 lbs. 14.9 oz and was 20 inches long!  He also was VERY READY to arrive...considering my contractions went from 12 minutes apart to 2 minutes apart in the blink of an eye!  I still remember sitting out on our back porch while Tad played with Courtlyn in the backyard.  I would let Tad know that a contraction was happening by saying, "OK...feeling uncomfortable now"...and then I would feel fine.  (For those of you who have had babies...you know the intense "one-of-a-kind" feeling!)  It is certainly all worth it when you see that gift from God for the first time...such a special experience...AND NOW HE IS TWO...following are some pics from our celebration!!!

Happy Birthday, Carson...

you are such a happy, funny, sweet "Little Man" and 

we love you!!!

DANCE!!!

 Crazy busy day...tons of errands...but lots of FUN!  The highlight of our day was Courtlyn's first dance class!!!  She LOVED it!!!  She was so excited all day!  What a special moment...getting her ready...the drive there...and watching her go into her first real dance class...all on her own...excited and ready to DANCE!  There were probably 12 or more other little girls there...talk about the level of "cuteness" being at an all time high...all of them dressed in their black leotards and pink tights...some struggling to get those new shiny black tap shoes on...others feeling unsure...and there was Court - asking me if she had any "fly-aways" in her hair and making sure her little pink skirt was just right...too cute!

A Visit With Aunt Squeak!

Let's go swimming!!!

This afternoon we were all SO EXCITED to go and visit Aunt Squeak and Grandma Mary Belle...the afternoon was filled with swimming, food, and great fellowship! (Did I mention LOTS of FOOD...we were all so full...and so exhausted from swimming...poor little Carson fell asleep literally one minute after we left:-)

I can stand in the shallow end...all by myself:-)

Once Carson got IN...he didn't want to get OUT!

He did manage to get some mowing in...he always does!

            

Had to get a "pose" in before we left for our visit!  (Yes, she chose and 'placed' the headband all by herself...little diva!)
