Fun Fall Pics!

Following are some Fall Pictures taken on various trips to Brown's...mostly because I am addicted to their Fuji apples...and because the kids LOVE the apple cider and HUGE pumpkins!!!

Courtlyn wore her fun Halloween Pumpkin Mask for 3 hours straight a few weeks ago...even to run errands! She loves it....thanks sweet friend who gave it to her!

Homecoming at Age 4???

 All Hail the Homecoming "Flower Girl"...

 

Courtlyn was recently asked if she would like to dress up and walk the flowers into the gym for the Homecoming Queen at Dallastown HS. Well, as soon as she was asked, her eyes lit up and we were immediately in "Princess Mode"!!! 
Picture this:

Court was decked out in her winter white princess gown that she wore to Uncle Don and Aunt Liz's wedding. Hair, nails and "make-up" were complete. Once all the girls were announced...our little one was announced and walked into the gym....to the cheering and applause of about 2000 teens and parents. Court looked around, smiled, pushed her shoulders back...and SLOWLY walked down the aisle...happily soaking it all in. 

Time Elapsed: about 7 minutes...not because of nerves...but because she was LOVING IT SO MUCH!!!  Makes me wonder...WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD???

Little Brother had lots of fun helping "Court-Court" (as he calls her!)  get ready...

Hello anticipating carving the first Halloween Pumpkin...hello cleaning out all the "pumpkin snot" as we lovingly call it!...hello deciding what shape eyes and noses should be and whether it should be a happy, scary, or princess pumpkin...hello to a daddy who should really get a side-job as a Pumpkin Carver...he's THAT talented!...hello to Carson NOT eating any of the raw seeds...we think!...hello to placing the first light into the first pumpkin and seeing little faces light up with delight...hello to a Halloween as Princess Belle and Buddy the Dinosaur...and all the excitement that goes into Trick-or-Treating...and the sugar highs that follow!!!

Lucky

Grandmommy, Grandpoppy (known to Carson as Pop Pop), and Lucky "the dog" came to visit...fun was had by all...AND...Courtlyn followed Carson's lead in actually WANTING to walk Lucky. Most of you know...Courtlyn is "not very fond" of dogs...we are holding out hope that one day she "learns to love"...ha, ha!

Having fun outside in the sunny weather (when it's here!)...playing at the park...playing IN THE CREEK, having a Starbucks (every now and then...hee, hee), and playing Princess dress-up with friends...does it get any better?  Still saying good by to summer and welcoming in the Fall breezes...pictures always tell the story better...hope you enjoy!!!

       

 

For those of you wondering...Courtlyn actually turns into a "Nature Lover" around Anna S. - Love it!

You all know this in my one and only "vice"...DO NOT JUDGE!!!  hee, hee!!!
